Three, Two, One, Zero!!!!

I'm Back!!! After a grueling 13 hour flight, preceded by an hour and a half flight and a two hour and fifteen minute flight, we (my brother and I) finally arrived in Narita, Japan. Going through customs was no problem since I had a re-entry visa and was able to go through the shorter lines. It only took us about 30 min. to go from the airplane door to the lobby. Abi met us there, and we got back to the house around 8:15. After that we both went to bed as soon afterward as possible. I was able to sleep for about 8 hours through the whole trip process. I slept about 7 hours during the long flight, and an hour during the flight from Dallas, TX to Chicago. Colin only slept about 45 minutes the whole time. We were able to have seats together on the long flight, and I had a window seat. Colin took lots of good pictures out the window during the flight. I might have slept longer if he had not been opening the window blind all the time and leaning over me to take pictures. But I'm glad he was able to sit next to me. I think having him there was one reason I was able to sleep as well as I did...Just to know that there was someone there that I could trust, and with whom I could talk. 
So in the last 48 hours, I was on three airplanes, I crossed the Mississippi River twice (and got further away from home each time), I had one LONG flight, and zero accidents! :) The only accident worth mentioning is when a one year old seat buddy spilled a cup of ice all over my leg while I was asleep... Other than that it was a smooth day. 


I am back here into the normal routine, and have already made a trip to the local grocery store... :) Well, it's nearly lunch time here, so I'll go for now.
